Jessie, this piece is really beautiful. I don't know if you made it in the double class, because I was sick, but I think it is a powerful piece and makes me think about this dichotomy between these words, to work towards a resolution. I also wonder in this piece how it might be different if you used rubber bands to show expansion and a further separation but that could also bounce back. It would be a different kind of resistance and a different connectedness.
